About Mona

Mona offers a cross-disciplinary approach for 3D imaging metrology and 3D printing in cultural heritage, arts&humanities and for creative industries. She also holds a PhD in 3D imaging metrology for cultural heritage, as well as a Dipl.-Ing. Univ. in architecture and a Master of Arts in Heritage Conservation. Specialising in 3D colour imaging and replica for museum objects, she has taken on interdisciplinary and international projects in 3D digital heritage for the past 15 years with heritage and research institutions.
From 2008 – 2012 she has been working as researcher at UCL Public and Cultural Engagement (UCL Museums).

Her current positions are since 2014 Research Manager and Facilitator for the 3DIMPact group (3D Imaging , Metrology and Photogrammetry applied coordinate technologies) at the UCL Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering, and since 2015 cross-faculty UCL Robotics Coordinator (EPSRC).

Mona is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy through UCL Arena – An international recognition of a commitment to professionalism in teaching and learning in higher education demonstrating practice aligned with UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF).
